Cosmetic dentistry in Palakollu

Whitening, bonding, veneers and smile design, starting with the least irreversible option that will actually work.

Cosmetic dentistry improves the colour, shape and alignment of teeth using whitening, composite bonding, ceramic veneers or a combination. At Care Dental Experts in Palakollu, cosmetic treatment is led by Dr. Nadiya and always follows one rule: health first, then the least irreversible treatment that achieves the result. If bonding will do the job, we will not cut your teeth for veneers.

Whitening: who it works for, and who it disappoints

Whitening lightens the natural tooth. It works well on general yellowing and on staining from tea, coffee, tobacco and time. It does not work on:

  • Fluorosis, the chalky white or brown mottling common in parts of Andhra Pradesh with high fluoride in the groundwater. Whitening can make the contrast look worse.
  • Tetracycline staining, grey or banded discolouration from childhood antibiotics. Responds poorly.
  • Existing crowns, veneers and fillings. These do not change colour. If your front teeth whiten and your old filling does not, it will suddenly stand out.
  • A single dark tooth after root canal treatment. This needs internal bleaching or a crown, not standard whitening.

We check which category you are in before you pay, not after.

Planning around a wedding or function

  1. Eight weeks before

Consultation, photographs, cleaning, and any decay or gum treatment first. Cosmetic work over unhealthy gums looks wrong and fails early.

  2. Six weeks before

Whitening, if suitable. The shade settles and rebounds slightly over the following two weeks, so this is deliberately not last-minute.

  3. Four weeks before

Bonding or veneer preparation, matched to the settled shade.

  4. Two weeks before

Final fitting, bite check and polish. Time left over for adjustments.

  5. The week of

Nothing irreversible. A final polish at most.

Honest limitations

Before-and-after photographs

We publish clinical photographs only with written patient consent, unretouched, and we do not use stock images of models as if they were our patients. Results shown are individual outcomes and yours may differ. Any clinic showing you a flawless gallery with no consent statement is showing you a brochure, not evidence.

  • Veneers are irreversible. Once enamel is removed, the tooth needs a covering for life.
  • Whitening causes temporary sensitivity for many patients. It settles within days.
  • Cosmetic results are not permanent. Bonding stains, veneers chip, whitening fades.
  • Gutka, pan, tobacco and heavy tea will undo whitening quickly. We will say this plainly.

Common questions

How white will my teeth actually get?

Usually a noticeable improvement of several shades on natural, evenly yellowed teeth, not the uniform white of an advertisement. We will show you a shade guide and give you a realistic target before treatment, and if we think you will be disappointed we will tell you so.

Are veneers safe for my teeth?

They are a well-established treatment, but they require permanent removal of enamel, so the decision is not reversible. That is exactly why we assess bonding first. It achieves a similar improvement in many cases with little or no tooth removal.

Can cosmetic treatment fix crooked teeth?

Slightly crooked teeth can be camouflaged with bonding or veneers. Genuinely crowded or protruding teeth should be moved, not covered. That means braces or aligners. Grinding down healthy crooked teeth to disguise them is a decision people regret.

Is cosmetic dentistry covered under EHS or WJHS?

Generally no. Health schemes cover treatment for disease and function, not appearance. Restorative work needed for health reasons may be a different matter. Our help desk can check the specific procedure.

Not sure which treatment you need?

Bring your X-rays if you have them, or just bring the tooth that is troubling you. A consultation and examination is the honest first step. We will tell you if you do not need treatment yet.
