EHS & WJHS empanelled dental treatment in Palakollu
Care Dental Experts is empanelled under the Employees Health Scheme and the Working Journalists Health Scheme for eligible cashless dental treatment. There is an Aarogya Mithra help desk inside the clinic.
Care Dental Experts, Advanced Laser & Implant Centre, Palakollu, is empanelled under the Employees Health Scheme (EHS) and the Working Journalists Health Scheme (WJHS). Eligible AP state government employees, pensioners, APSRTC employees, accredited working journalists and their dependent family members can receive approved dental treatment on a cashless basis. Eligibility, the covered procedure list and approval of any individual case are decided by the scheme authority, not by the clinic.
How the cashless process works, step by step
Come to the help desk first
Not the reception counter. The Aarogya Mithra desk is inside our waiting room and it is where the paperwork begins.
Documents verified
Health card, Aadhaar and employee, pensioner or accreditation ID are checked against the scheme records.
Dental examination
The dentist examines you and takes X-rays. Nothing can be submitted before there is a clinical diagnosis, the scheme approves procedures, not intentions.
Pre-authorisation raised
The proposed procedure, diagnosis and supporting images are submitted to the scheme for approval.
The scheme decides
Approval, query or rejection. If they query, we respond with whatever further detail is asked for.
Treatment proceeds
Approved treatment is carried out. You pay nothing for the approved portion.
Settlement
We claim from the scheme directly. You are given your treatment records for your own file.

We deliberately do not paraphrase entitlement rules on this page, because they change and because getting them wrong would mislead you. Common questions
Who is eligible for EHS dental treatment?
The Employees Health Scheme covers serving Andhra Pradesh state government employees, pensioners, APSRTC employees and pensioners, and their eligible dependent family members, as defined by the scheme. Eligibility is determined by the scheme authority against your health card records, not by this clinic.
Who is covered under WJHS?
The Working Journalists Health Scheme covers accredited working journalists in Andhra Pradesh and their eligible family members. As with EHS, the definition of eligibility and the approval of any procedure rest with the scheme authority.
What does cashless actually mean here?
For a procedure the scheme covers and approves, you do not pay us and claim the money back later. We raise the pre-authorisation, the scheme approves it, and the treatment is settled between us and the scheme. If part of your treatment plan falls outside the covered list, we will tell you which part and what it costs before we start.
What documents should I bring?
The EHS or WJHS health card, Aadhaar of the patient, and the employee, pensioner or accreditation ID. For a dependent, bring proof of relationship as recorded in the scheme. Bring originals. Photocopies alone often hold the process up.
How long does approval take?
It varies with the procedure and the scheme's own processing. Simple procedures are usually quicker than surgical or prosthetic ones. We cannot promise a timeline because the decision is not ours. Our help desk will tell you where your request stands whenever you ask.
What if my procedure is not approved?
Then you have three options, and we will lay all three out: proceed as a self-paying patient at our normal fees, choose a covered alternative treatment where one exists, or do nothing for now if the tooth can safely be watched. Nobody is pressured into paying privately for a refused claim.
Can I use the scheme for cosmetic dentistry?
Generally not. Health schemes fund treatment for disease and function, not appearance. Whitening and veneers are self-paying. Restorative treatment needed for health reasons is a different question. Bring the case to the help desk and we will check.
Bring the card. We will check it for you.
You do not need an appointment to ask the help desk whether your card covers what you need. Walk in during clinic hours, or call and we will tell you what to bring.
